Year 2004

Dai Ha Thanh Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company was established and it was the predecessor of the present Vien Dong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, of which headquarter is located at 1410 Hoang Van Thu – Ward No. 4 – Tan Binh District – Ho Chi Minh City.

Year 2005

It was renamed to be Vien Dong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company with the headquarters located at No. 18 – Lane No. 108 Cong Hoa – Tan Binh District – Ho Chi Minh City.

Year 2007

This is an important transitional year marking the historical change of Vien Dong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company through a variety of big projects started, fierce measures in resource restructuring, overall Company reforming programs,... with its over 30 franchised products originally bought from famous Korean pharmaceutical companies launched to the market as a firm base for Vien Dong’s stable development.
1. on 01/01/2007, the Company has taken over all the goods, assets and taken the transfer of the whole personnel, distribution channel, customer system... from two companies, which are Ha Noi Vien Dong International Joint Stock Company and HCM.City Vien Dong International Joint Stock Company, increasing its scale to over 100%.
2. The Company has bought franchises and successfully transferred technology of over 30 product brands from famous Korean Pharmaceutical Companies with a value of more than VND 30 billion.
3. On 04/08/2007, the Board of Directors decided to change Vien Dong Pharmaceutical JSC to be the parent company of Vien Dong Pharmaceutical Group by:
(1) Purchasing 100% shares of Da Nang - Vien Dong Pharmaceutical JSC and transferring this Company into one-member limited liability Company directly under its control.
(2) Purchasing 100% shares of Ha Noi Vien Dong Pharmaceutical JSC and transforming it into a one-member limited liability Company directly under its control.
(3) Participating in capital investment into construction for Lili France Joint-Venture Factory.
